We can only be Guardians to angels whom God chooses to leave on this earth. In the case of Mark Holland, it would seem that God had other plans. Mark came to us in 2002 suffering from Lupus, a chronic inflammatory disease that can attack many organs in the body. As a teenager, he travelled from Guyana to The Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto for medical treatment. Alas, despite the very best efforts of the doctors and TCCF's supporters, Mark succumbed to his illness and passed away. There is still no cure for lupus.
