Malica was born with cranio-orbital, as well as, cleft lip and cleft palate deformities. At the very tender age of twenty-two months, the Guyana-born baby was taken under TCCF's wings. Her surgery was successful at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. Malica, now almost six, is due for surgeries to correct other problems as she grows. TCCF is following her progress keenly.
