At the delicate age of six months, Dondre Sewell required surgery for a blocked vessel from the heart. She underwent a successful surgery in 2004 and returned to her native country of Jamaica. The surgery was performed by Dr. Andrew Reddington at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. TCCF paid for the surgery.
