Tariq and Johan Sookoo Nine-month old twins from Trinidad, Tariq and Johan Sookoo, both suffered from an imperforate anus. This is the absence of a normal anal opening. In early 2005, the boys were operated on by Dr. Jacob Langer at the Hospital for Sick Kids in Toronto. Surgery was successful and they are now both doing quite well. TCCF covered the cost of treatment.
