Ambika Ramadhin Ambika Ramadhin, a six-year old child from Trinidad required surgeries to construct both a bladder and a vagina, and also to untie her uterus. This was done at the Hospital for Sick Kids in Toronto. After being operated on and discharged in April 2005, Amibka was rushed back to the hospital with complications and a second surgery was performed. She recovered well, and has since retumed home. TCCF covered the cost of surgeries.
